Pendulum is committed to a straightforward, fair, and easy pricing and
payment structure on all of our clients' projects.
No Overruns
We stand behind our estimates and will not come to you with unexpected
costs. Our development process eliminates unexpected
overruns. Before the project starts, we identify exactly what you want through
the business requirements. We then submit a fixed-price proposal detailing how
we will deliver the solution.
There's no need to worry about hourly billing or unexpected expenses. If
mid-project changes do arise, we will quickly create a simple change order so
that you know exactly how much the change will cost and we will know exactly
the change you need.
Flexible
At Pendulum, we realize that almost all projects have unavoidable
monetary constraints. While it would be nice to spend unlimited
resources on every project, it's just not practical. We will work with
you to find the right balance between cost, development speed, and
solution functionality.
For example, if the nature of your project is such that a fixed-price
solution is not practical, we will be happy to work on other terms such
as hourly billing.
Proposals
The project proposal is the root of the solution. It lays out our
project relationship together and, along with the requirements document,
specifies exactly what will be built and under what circumstances.
Our proposals are straight-forward and easy to follow with no
hidden fees or costs. We document the basic project plan, assumptions,
deliverables, firm start and end dates, the proposed cost, and, if
needed, the process for making changes to the project once it has started.
Payments
Typically we require a small down payment (usually less than 10%)
to secure the project. From there you will receive monthly invoices of equal
portions of the remaining fixed-price total for the estimated duration of the project.
